It’s beginning to look a lot like Chriiiiistmas!
It’s the first full week of November. Which means there are 45 days left until Christmas. Which also means I’ve been listening to Christmas music since the clock stuck midnight on Halloween.
Christmas, how I love thee. Let me count the ways…
* Christmas is, by far, my absolute favorite holiday and the time of year alone sends me into a state of utter bliss. It’s just everything about it: the songs, the festivities, the lights, the trees, the decorations, the sweet treats. The way it brings family together.
* There is no better feeling than experiencing the holidays through my children’s eyes. All of the wonder and joy and magic flows straight through them and into me and I can ask for nothing more than that.
* And then, of course, there is the true reason for the season: I feel God’s presence even more during the holidays… & it is so very welcomed.
While, in our household, we do our best to not decorate TOO early and skip over any other holidays (Thanksgiving, I truly do enjoy you, sis… It’s nothing personal) we definitely allow the Christmas cheer to enter our home quick, fast, in a hurry and we sing it loud for all to hear. Because I am SUCH a planner: the Christmas prep has to begin long before November has ended. Everything from preparing for family holiday photos, to planning our annual winter family vacay, to shopping for everyone’s Christmas presents.
So in the spirit of Christmas, Jesus, and Old Saint Nick: I have put together a mini gift guide for y’all! Hoping that this list gives you a little bit of inspiration in your Christmas shopping for all of the ladies in your life: whether a friend, a family member, or a significant other (even for building your OWN Christmas wishlist)!
This list is comprised specifically of thoughtful gifts for a special woman in your life. Not necessarily expensive or fancy or lavish, but the kind of gifts that are valued not for their monetary worth, but because they mean so very much.
